The West Jordan Historical Museum News.

The West Jordan Historical Museum is very grateful to all who have visited the museum. A big thanks goes out to the many volunteers who helped complete museum & Eagle Scout projects this year. We are holding our third annual “Pumpkin Walk” Saturday Oct 22, 2005 from 11A.M. to 3 P.M. We are planning to have a great day featuring Dutch Oven Demonstrations, blacksmithing, antique machinery, booths, games and much more. We will have pumpkins to take home and carve. Be sure to see our Fortune Teller in the old South Jordan Canal Co. surveyor’s wagon and our new interactive milking cow sponsored by Dannon. Last year’s event was a great success and we are looking forward to another great experience. Some of our sponsors include; Jordan Valley Hospital, Utah Antique Machinery Association, the SUP, the Bonneville Forge Club, Schmidt’s Produce, Party City of West Jordan and the High Unita Pack Goats.  Please come in costume and prepare to have a wonderful time! With the new ring road open inside the park, we suggest that our patrons enter the museum using the new park entrance off of 7800 S. and park behind the museum in the main park parking area. There is also parking along 7800 south in front of the museum. Admission is free but we do accept donations. If you would like to volunteer to help with the “Pumpkin Walk” please give us a call at 255-3116 or 403-9030.
