The West Jordan Historical Museum News.

The West Jordan Historical Museum is very grateful to all who have visited the museum. A big thanks goes to the many volunteers who helped complete museum & Eagle Scout projects this year. The road and construction work on 78  South is almost completed. We hope to have a new white picket fence up by the time we have our annual “Pumpkin’ Walk.” We will soon have access to our back lot/parking via the new main park ring road. Speaking of the “Pumpkin’ Walk”, please write this down on your calendar. The second Annual “Pumpkin’ Walk” will be held Saturday October 30th from 11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. on the grounds of the West Jordan Historical Museum. The event will start shortly before 11:00 a.m. with a flag ceremony using our new flag pole that was recently purchased and installed as an Eagle Scout project. We will be having a memorial tree planting ceremony at 1:00 honoring our fallen Police Officers. We are planning to have a great day featuring Dutch Oven Demonstrations, blacksmithing, antique machinery, booths, games and much more. We will have pumpkins to take home and carve. Be sure to see our Fortune Teller in the old South Jordan Canal Co. surveyor’s wagon.  Last year’s event was a great success and we are looking forward to another great experience. Some of our sponsors include; Jordan Valley Hospital, Utah Antique Machinery Association, the DUP and SUP, the Bonneville Forge Club,  Schmidt’s Produce and the High Unita Pack Goats. Please come in costume and prepare to have a wonderful time!
